Maggi goreng, also known as Maggi mee goreng, is a Mamak-style mee goreng variant. Instead of fresh yellow noodles, it uses Maggi instant noodles that are cooked in hot water before being stir-fried. The tomato sauce is responsible for the bright red hue.

Maggie Goreng from ABC King 👑 restaurant at Lavender Street. Sooo comforting sooo satisfying. The red color should be from red coloring as this was not very sweet but rather salty. 😂 probably won’t order this again.

Ordered the Seafood Maggi goreng from Haji Kadir @hajikadirfoods. This comes drenched in a spicy yet sweet sauce with seafood such as squid, fishcakes, and prawns tossed inside. Probably a combination of ketchup and chili. Quite shiok but a bit too spicy for me. Ordered this because I wanna try something different. They also have another outlet in Tampines. They’re known for their Sup Tulang Merah ($8 for four or more bones), which is a thick mutton bone stew served with baguette slices for you to dip into the stew.
