Mid-Autumn Reverie at Sheraton Towers Singapore
Sheraton Towers Singapore celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival with a resplendent curation of traditional baked and contemporary snow skin mooncakes handcrafted to perfection by the culinary team of award-winning Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant. Unveiling two new exciting flavours in the line-up this year, Li Bai’s exquisitely handcrafted mooncakes, made with the finest ingredients will be available from 1 August to 13 September 2019. Tastefully encased in an intricate lattice patterned box, the new packaging features an augmented reality journey of “Coming Together”, designed by young visual artists from The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT BAF).
New this year to Li Bai’s traditional baked signatures, the Super Seeds Mixed Nuts mooncake ($76) packs a nutritional punch of wholesome elements that lends a textural contrast of sweet and savoury flavours with each bite. Incorporating 10 healthy ingredients comprising superfoods that are rich in anti-oxidants, the medley consists of chia seed, walnut, macadamia nut, almond, pine nut, prune, pistachio, apricot, melon seed and goji berry. Other quintessential mooncakes in the baked series include the White Lotus Seed Paste with Double Egg Yolk ($76), White Lotus Seed Paste with Single Egg Yolk ($72) as well as White Lotus Seed Paste ($68).
In addition to the all-time favourite snow skin mooncakes — Mini Snow Skin Champagne ($68), Mini Snow Skin Lychee Martini ($68) and Mini Snow Skin Sea Salt Truffle Dark Chocolate ($68), Li Bai has curated a new calorie-worthy option. The new Mini Snow Skin Chia Seed Dark Chocolate ($68) is a healthful indulgent creation featuring bittersweet dark chocolate that is generously studded with chia seeds for an added crunch.

The Business Times Budding Artists Fund
Initiated in 2004 and adopted by The Business Times in 2005, The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT BAF) originated from a conviction that no child with the strong interest and potential in the arts should be denied the opportunity to develop his or her talents due to a lack of financial resources. Since 2005, BT BAF has reached out to more than 18,000 financially-disadvantaged children and youth, between the ages of six to 19 years old, through a variety of programmes including a systematic art training programme at The Little Arts Academy and 10 Square Youth; art camps, workshops and signature events. BT BAF is managed by The RICE Company Limited, a registered charity with IPC status. For more information, visit . To support BT BAF beneficiaries, please visit http://bit.do/supportbtbaf
