Citrus by the pool 🏊‍♂️ Situated right beside the swimming complex all the way at Woodlands, this halal-certified hidden gem has been overlooked by many. They have recently launched their seasonal menu in conjunction with National Day, however, you can enjoy the yummy food for an extended period until October!

𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙛 𝙍𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙍𝙞𝙘𝙚 ($14.90) 🐮
Oven-Baked Beef Brisket Rendang with rice topped with melted Mozzarella Cheese. The cheese pull was amazing, however, the rice was dry and the beef brisket lacked in flavour.

💗 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙖 ($12.90) 🍝

Citrus’s unique take on this Singaporean classic.
Dry Laksa with linguine, shrimps, hard-boiled egg, fish cake and topped with crunchy tau pok. Love this so much! The al dente linguine was well-coated in the delicious laksa paste which makes for a hearty and shiok-licious meal!

💗 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞 𝘾𝙧𝙖𝙗 𝙎𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 ($12.90) 🦀
Crispy soft shell crab, carrots and lettuce sandwiched between fluffy Chinese steamed buns, topped with homemade chilli crab sauce. What a way to eat chilli crab! The sauce is mildly spicy and leans more to the sweet side.

𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝘾𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙖 ($5.90) 🍮
Pandan custard drizzled with gula Melaka, topped with desiccated coconut. The texture of the Panna Cotta was kind of dense like a thickened pudding but the gula Melaka sauce was really good!

💌 Thanks to @lovefoodlove3 for the invite and @dawnchansg and @citrusbythepool for hosting and feeding us with so much food!
Stay tuned for more food post from @citrusbythepool here~💞
