REVIEW: Good cafe in Singapore: Amuse Dessert Co — NEW dessert cafe at Tanjong Pagar behind the team at The Dark Gallery
I haven’t yet visited The Dark Gallery, but the Amuse Dessert Co appears to be run by the same people. The futuristic yet fun and quirky interior was what drew my attention. This color combination is perfect for here as it enlivens the whole space. This also makes the space a good place for your Instagram OOTD shoots. haha
They have a wide variety of cakes, tarts, ice cream, parfaits, French bakes, and pastries, as well as coffee, tea, and juices.
Some of the interesting ice cream flavors include the Banoffee Pecan Pie, Truffle Basque Cheesecake, and Injeolmi Bingsu.
I went with the Lemon Basil mini pound. The flavors of lemon and basil go together so well. It’s fantastic. These cute mini pound cakes are moist and delicious with a light refreshing tangy flavor. As I took a bite, I could find bits of basil in the cake. This was very nice! However, I wish it was larger in size.
I saw that they have Sencha so I ordered a Single Origin Sencha — 002 Koushun to try which has a clean and refreshing taste. This $10 portion can last maybe 3–4 cups.
