I ate Hassbawa’s mee goreng, which was said to be legendary at Marine Parade. They’ve been in Marine Parade since 1978. Mine came with an egg. To be honest, this wasn’t particularly impressive. The wok hei was barely discernible, and their sauce lacked flavor. The noodles were usually wok-fried, so wok hei was usually present, at least in some of the mee goreng I tried. The green chili, on the other hand, provided a spicy kick.

They were listed in the straits times and misstamchiak, so I was a little disappointed. In 2014, they also won the Singapore Hawker Masters for Indian mee goreng. Their standards have most likely deteriorated.
