Lee’s Confectionary

Traveled all the way to the Chinese Garden for this! Lee’s Confectionary is a new dessert shop selling exquisite desserts that is not only yummy but affordable.

Dale — Matcha & Passionfruit
This “Dale” cake is the one that was recommended on Instagram and also being matcha lovers we had to try this.
This carefully constructed matcha dessert consists of matcha sponge, matcha mouse, and passionfruit jam. The matcha sponge was light and fluffy with not-so-strong matcha flavor and tangy notes from passionfruit. Idk about you but it reminds me of a small turret. Much thought was put into this dessert. 😋😋😋😋😋

Inspired by the shape of a honeycomb, The madu is a combination of honey & salted caramel fixed in place by lightly whipped Horlicks cream with a crunchy honey cornflake base. The owner meticulously outlined the plate with honey resembling the hexagonal cell of a beehive. The cake is soft and not overly sweet. Preferred this over the Dale matcha cake.
