Randomly walked into this ramen shop in Ueno and I was blown away by how good this is~

The interior is dimly lit with limited seats. I got a counter seat at a corner.

Instead of serving ramen in the traditional plastic bowl, this shop serves it in a clay bowl. All the goodness of ramen is served up piping hot in a clay bowl. This bowl of #ramen is a heavenly bowl of umami explosion with prawns being used as a basis of the broth. This gives the broth the sweetness and umami of the prawns. It is a comforting bowl of ramen topped with onsen eggs, tender thick fatty charsiew, bamboo shoots, and vegetables. So irresistibly delicious!!
