REVIEW: SHAKE SHACK IS FINALLY IN SINGAPORE!
Are you as excited as me that @shakeshacksg is finally in Singapore? Is it worth waiting 45 minutes in the line for this?
I was there early in the morning.. I think it was around 1 hour after their opening and the queue was insanely long at that point in time. Saw people queueing with their luggage too. I was handed this small burger card and only those who have this can enter the restaurant area. Once you have ordered your meal, you get a buzzer to go back to collect when ready. I believe I was lucky to only queue for around 45 minutes while other people queue for more than an hour which was insanely long.
Coming from a humble background in Manhattan, Shake Shack has grown to become this mega burger chain. Jewel Changi is their first outlet in Singapore.
I ordered the classic ShackBurger 🍔, Crinkle-cut cheese fries 🍟, and the SG exclusive Pandan Shake. The ShackBurger consisting cooked patty of 100% all-natural Angus beef, lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce, placed inside a potato bun. Tender and juicy beef with soft potato bun.
The Pandan Shake is frozen Vanilla custard blended with pandan, coconut and topped with gula Melaka crumble. The pandan flavor comes through strong with the coconut flavor being an after-taste. As this is SUPER concentrated, you are advised to order this to share. lol
The crinkle-cut cheese fries were so good leh! Fried to a golden color with just the right amount of saltiness and those cheese on top couldn’t be any better! Wish there were more cheese though.
I would say this is definitely worth the price.
